Acoustic Set

if you've listened to this band and don't like their harder stuff, try this acoustic set. it's pretty solid.

R.I.P.

Of course everyone else is blogging/twittering/writing/texting about this today, but you can't ignore it. Dude was amazing. He is so good it almost looks fake. Despite all of the crazy things (which I don't entirely put on him), he is an icon and his music will live on...

tweet tweet...who's got the keys to my jeep...

I broke down and joined twitter and I'm pleasantly surprised. Join. Then hit me up at @braynation

craig ferguson is a pretty funny guy...

Two intros to his late late show are posted below. Different and very funny. I think he does regular monologues from time to time...but I like the change of pace. I might actually start watching (make that DVRing) it.

holy freakin wow...

Saw this video on another blog and watched in awe for 5 minutes and 38 seconds. It took me a minute to figure out what they were trying to do and then it hit me how amazing it was. Pretty good 5 minute break from work...

I've said it before...

I'll say it again. I love this band. I finally get to go see them live on Sunday and I'm pretty excited. Below is a 5 minute interview with the band and is a small glimpse as to why I like them so much. The album they just put out is personal and it's something I can relate to. Below that is one of the songs from their latest album. Get ready to channel your inner Nirvana...cause I think it sounds just like them minus Kurt Cobain.

here piggy piggy piggy...

Seriously...if you want to travel to Mexico, now is the perfect time. No one is there, flights are cheap and many resorts are offering a swine flu guarantee. We were just there and didn't see a single sick person...If you ask me, Mexico is getting screwed in this whole "swine flu scare".

I'm famous!!

Thanks to my buddy, John, I found a commercial that I recently starred in is available online. I thought it was only going to run on TV, but who am I kidding? Everything is online these days. It may be hard to figure out where I am, but check out seconds 7 - 11 and let me know what you think of my performance. Oscar worthy? I think so!

Keith Olbermann...where have you been?

Ok, so whether I like it or not, I've had to listen to this ridiculous news story about Miss California and all of the drama surrounding her. I'm pretty much tired of it, like I'm tired of hearing every other day that Brett Favre is returning to football. But, listening to her response...wow. I do feel bad for the girl because she probably didn't write her response and obviously can't handle all of the media attention she is getting. But really, if you believe something, own it. If she says, "I said it, I believe it, I respect those that have a different opinion, but this is what I think..." then I think everyone would move on. Instead, she stands up, talks about how she and Obama believe the same thing, how God is proud of her and how her Grandfather fought in WWII to protect her freedom of speech...? For the love. If you care to watch it, you can see it here.

That brings me to this post. I happen to really like this piece from Keith Olbermann...it makes me wish he had never left SportsCenter...

you just can't make this stuff up

Blind highschooler hits 2 free-throws to win a game? Really? Shaq needs to take some lessons from this kid...
