So, one of my favorite shows is Jeep World of Adventure Sports. It comes on NBC at really obscure times like 2:30 on Saturday afternoon when no one is in front of a TV except for college football fans. But this show travels around the world and does stories on extreme sports icons. A recent show I saw did a piece on Dean Potter...one of the world's best rock climbers. He often climbs with out rope...which is crazy. He has taken slacklining to a whole new level. This extreme form is called highlining which is done at heights 400 feet plus. He says he learned this extreme form of tightrope walking from a homeless man who wrote books on quantum physics. (if dude is writing books on quantum physics...why is he homeless?) So...i guess enough is never enough...so dude is now highlining with no harness...just a base jump parachute. Pretty remarkable, but insanely stupid. Like I said, I admire him, but I think he is a moron.

I wonder if his mom dropped him as an infant? That is the only way I can explain someone thinking this is "fun"!
