Heard this one on the radio today and made me laugh out loud (or LOL). This woman had her cement Jesus statue stolen and held ransom (although they never say for how much). While the entire story is outrageous and very funny...a few things bother me. I am discouraged that this story actually made it to CNN. Slow news day? I'm a little bothered at how much this lady cares about her Jesus statue...it's not even a nice Jesus statue made out of granite or marble...it's made of cement. She seems like the kind of lady that would like to have this cross in her window.
I do love the ransom note though. I mean anyone one can come up with a real ransom note, but it takes some intelligence to use the words poopie and weiner 3 times.
What makes the story even better...it was stolen by a family member. AWKWARD!!
